Jessica Torvick

Program Director - Head Coach

Jessica oversees all sessions at Kits FSC. She is from the Lower Mainland and has 32 years of coaching experience, working with both recreational and competitive skaters in the disciplines of Freeskate, Dance, and Skills. Jessica was a provincial competitor at the Junior level and achieved Triple Gold status as a skater in the disciplines of Figures, Freeskate, and Dance. Her qualifications include NCCP Level 2 (partial 3) certification and current First Aid.

Laura Ivanich Paluch

CanSkate Co-ordinator - Club Coach

Laura brings 20 years of professional coaching experience to Kits FSC, along with an accomplished career as an amateur competitive skater. Laura was a national and international competitor as a pair skater with her brother James, and a strong competitive singles skater in her own right. Laura also toured with Disney on Ice.

Kandis Ng

Club Coach

Kandis is a former competitive skater with an extensive competitive skating background. She has achieved both Gold Freeskate and Gold Skills tests, and competed at the Junior level at Provincial Sectionals. Her competitive highlights include SkateCanada BC/YK Provincial Champion – Star 8, and Super Series Final Champion – Gold. She is passionate about helping skaters build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a lifelong love for skating in a positive and supportive environment.

Karen Lee
