We love our Volunteers!
Program assistants on ice, event organisers behind the scenes, and our passionate board of directors; as a non-profit organisation the KitsFSC could not function without volunteers! We are thankful for each and every one of our members that dedicates their time to the club.
With roles big and small, remote and in-person, there's always a need for helping hands.
Can we count on you?
Members needing volunteer hours for school or employment reasons, look no further! We'd love to have you join us on or off ice.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:
CanSkate Program Assistant:
Number of volunteers desired: 20+
Assist our Skate Canada Certified Coaches on ice by guiding our newest skaters through each circuit.
Requirements:
Completion of CanSkate 1-6
Attend a PA Training Session.

Holiday Party Committee:
Number of volunteers desired: 5+
Every December we host a Holiday themed party at the Kitsilano rink. This includes organising food, promotion, audio systems, and coordinating a small skating showcase! Many hands make light work, from event management to bringing a tray of cookies, we are thankful to all who can help in big and small ways.

Skating Gear and Costume Sale
Number of volunteers desired: 4+
Help receive and organise donations over the month of September. On the day of the event, help manage sales and assist with the set up/tear down.
